Pat has spent the past 35 years working in both the public and private sector, including mental health, addictions and acquired brain injury and has a particular interest in supporting individuals who are exhibiting moderate to severe behaviour.

He has presented workshops and seminars at both national and international Child and Youth Care conferences and has been published in the Canadian Journal of Child and Youth Care.

A strong believer in community involvement, Pat has provided leadership as board chair of the Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) and the Ontario Rehab. Alliance (ORA). He has served as a board member for the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care and for the Burlington Girls’ Hockey Club.

Pat is a graduate of Ryerson University and Cambrian College and was recently the recipient of the Cambrian College Alumni Award and was nominated for the Ontario Premieres Award for outstanding Ontario College graduates.
