Relevant in particular for school-based, residential and community-based CYCs, this workshop will provide multiple strategies for life space interventions that target current scenarios including new technologies such as social networking and cellular communication. Participants will leave with a toolbox of therapeutic and pro-active life space interventions that can be applied right here, right now.

This workshop will review current theory and practice as it relates to social skill development and how child and youth workers can become more effective in assisting children and youth develop positive social skills.
