Melissa Rupert, Director of Training Services
Melissa has attended Humber College, York University and Ryerson University. Melissa has worked in children's mental health, education, youth justice and community social service agencies for over 11 years. She has chaired and participated in community based committees related to training and education, such as the Peel Coalition Against Sexual Assault's Prevention and Community Education committee. She has spent the last four years working part-time as a professor at Humber College and owning and operating Source RE Source a company dedicated to providing therapeutic resources, including books, materials and training, for professional staff development and education.

Bill Carty, Director of Consultation Services
Bill Carty, BA, CYW, MBA; Director of Consultation Service and Bartimaeus President. Bill has been involved in specialized services since 1972. Initially he worked in children’s mental health, as a child and youth worker. He has been a practitioner, program supervisor, service manager, and service director in a variety of social service agencies across Ontario, Canada. He taught at Humber College, in the child and youth work program and provided consultation services in the social service sector. He co-founded Bartimaeus in 1988 to respond to organizations and agencies, in communities across Ontario, who required experienced and skilled practitioners to assist with children, adolescents and adults who have been identified as having special care and treatment needs due to behavioural, mental health, or developmental difficulties.
