Bartimaeus Chaperone service provides medical assessment chaperones for professionals throughout Ontario. Services are provided in office and home settings. Our Chaperones provide neutral, objective third-party observations of assessments being conducted.

Our Service Co-ordinator, Holly Fisher is available to both the purchasing organization and the designated Chaperone throughout the time of the assessment, in case of any service breakdown.

Chaperone service fees are $49 per hour, minimum of three hours, for all requested service hours. Expenses are charged only with prior approval of the purchasing organization. For no-shows or cancellations of less than three days, Bartimaeus will invoice for the full contract amount.

Our Chaperones:
Bartimaeus Chaperones are university or college educated individuals, who provide an unbiased observation on behalf of the assessor and individuals who are being assessed. All Chaperones have been cleared by a vulnerable person check, conducted via BackCheck Information Corporation. Professional reference checks are conducted on all Chaperones prior to commencing any contract and they are covered by Bartimaeus professional liability insurance.
Chaperones are chosen from the Bartimaeus provincial Associate network and are available throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Chaperones are required to arrive at the assessment venue fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled assessment. On completion of each contract the Chaperones deliver all forms/required information to either the assessor directly, or to the Bartimaeus Service Co-ordinator, as directed, by the purchasing organization.
