Staff
The Bartimaeus Senior Services
staff provide competency-based services. Focusing on
the health of an individual is more effective than on
illness or disabilities.
Many of our clients do have medical problems
and difficulties, which the Bartimaeus staff take into
account when planning and implementing activities. However,
our focus is on enhancing and enriching people's lives
through positive activities.
Our Senior Services professional
staff provide direct services in the individual's home,
in retirement homes, in long term care facilities, and
in the community.
Staff members have extensive experience
in care provision, excellent knowledge of mental health
issues, and hold University or College degrees/diplomas.
Additionally, staff have First Aid/CPR training, have
undergone a medical and Criminal Reference Check screening
process, are covered by professional liability insurance,
and have the ongoing supervision of our Director of
Services.
Our services are available 24 hours a day,
7 days a week and are on a fee-for-service basis.
