Bartimaeus Senior Services has provided support to seniors with complex care needs, to their families and health-care providers for over 20 years. Our services address behaviour, cognitive, emotional, physical and/or social difficulties that accompany aging.

We recognize that families need a quality balanced alternative to attempting everything themselves. We offer a level of care and attention to families and our clients that is not currently offered in the public system. Our involvement provides the family the opportunity to meaninfully connect with their parent and/or spouse rather than always thinking about the next decision that needs to be made.

Services are provided in the home or community and are offered independently or in conjunction with other public and private services. We develop strategies to make everyday living more manageable and productive.

We provide support to seniors:
• who have developed severe behavioural, social, emotional and/or psychiatric difficulties
• living with terminal illness
• isolated due to physical limitations
• during times of transition and change
• who require accompaniment to medical appointments
• and relief for care providers
